How do you photograph a event?
I believe that your guests are there to enjoy the event and do not want to be harassed to have their picture taken and buy a print. I do not set up a mobile photographic studio in the corner of the room but instead mingle with the guests. This allows me to capture natural, spontaneous and informal pictures as they happen and be on hand when a group photo is required.

What area do you cover and do you charge a travel fee?
I regularly work in London, Surrey, Sussex, Hampshire, and Kent and cover the entire UK and abroad if required. Travel of up to 50 miles from the office (BN16 1EP) is included within the price of the shoot. Additional miles will be charged at 44p per mile. Journeys into central London will incur an additional charge of £50. Overnight accommodation is sometimes required. Travel abroad to be negotiated. Please note: If a further travel charge will be incurred for me to cover your event I will give you full details at the time you check my availability and before you make a booking.

How will I receive the pictures?
After the event the pictures are fully edited, enhanced and supplied to you as high res (12”x8” @300dpi) images on a disk. You will receive a colour and black & white version of each image along with either a personal usage license or corporate license.

What is the license for and what does it cover?
Personal Usage
The license enables you to print and share your images with family and friends for your personal use.

Corporate Usage
My standard license covers unlimited, non-exclusive use for press releases, web-sites, handouts, internal company newsletters or magazines, brochures, leaflets and display prints on company premises.

Who owns the copyright?
All copyright remains the property of Scott Ramsey Photography.

I have specific requirements regarding the license and copyright of the photographs.
I understand some clients require full copyright or a specific license for the photographs. Please contact me to discuss your requirements and I’ll do my best to help.

I’d like to book you. What do I need to do now?
First contact me to check if I am available to cover your event. If the date is free, you can proceed with the booking. A deposit of £50.00 is required at the time of booking and the remaining balance will be required when the pictures are ready to be sent out after the event.

Can I order prints?
Yes prints can be ordered via the password protected online gallery after the event.
