Do you cover other parts of the country? Yes I do and can travel anywhere. Please see “Do you charge extra for traveling???”.

What cameras do you use? To avoid any technical problems during the day I always carry two camera bodies and have invested heavily in the best Nikon digital camera equipment.

What about insurance? There is always the unforeseen and to cover this I have professional indemnity insurance and public liability insurance.

Do you charge extra for traveling Yes, but only if the location of the photo shoot involves more than 100 miles of traveling. Please see below.
Travel Expenses:
0-100 miles = Included in job price.
100+ miles = 44p per mile
Road tolls, ferry crossings and parking all charged at cost. Should an overnight stay be required, a reasonable charge for hotel room plus evening meal will be quoted for according to location. (Should the hotel room and evening meal be made available to me at the location of the shoot, at your expense, then this charge will be waived.) The best way to calculate the distance is to use the RAC route planner. All you need is my post code which is BN16 1EP and then enter yours. The route planner will then let you know the total mileage. Click
here to use the RAC route planner.
Vat included .Mileage is the TOTAL mileage covered from my office to the shoot location and the return journey.

Location Portrait Photography Questions:

What happens if the weather is bad?
If you have booked a location portrait and the weather looks bad I will normally contact you before I leave my office to discuss the options with you. We then have the following options:
To get the umbrellas out, wellies on and have some fun getting wet. Even in the rain you can get some great pictures and very rarely (even in the UK) does it rain all day none stop. We can also work on getting some pictures inside the house but this may not be a option for a large group picture. If this is not a option we can rearrange to a latter time in the day or rebook the shoot altogether (subject to any bookings I already have). The main thing is that I aim to provide the best possibly pictures I can and to achieve this I need good weather and happy subjects.
Would I lose my deposit if we had to rearrange the shoot?
In most cases you would not but it is subject to the reason for the rearrangement and of course I would let you know at the time.
