Once the wedding day has finished I will start work on your pictures. Below is the creative process that is involved in getting your pictures looking the best and what makes me different from many photographers.
- All the photographs have to be downloaded to my computer, numbered in sequence, cropped, backed up and saved to disc.
- The images are than edited and the best chosen for the final selection.
- The final edit of images then has to be worked on using adobe software to create your images. The process involves creating B/W and B/W with a hint of color images. Images will need to be darkened or made lighter. This process takes time but is important to enable you to see how the photographs will look once they have been printed.
- The CD is burnt and sent to the couple.
- Once I have received the wedding print order I start work on the photographs.
- Using the low res images as a starting point all the ordered photographs will need to be edited using my computer. This time the high res images will need to prepared for the processing lab. My computer screen is colour corrected so what I see on my screen will be the same as the print.
- I will then send the order to a professional lab who will print the photographs on Fuji Crystal Archive Photographic paper (Click here to visit the Fuji site).
- When I receive the prints back from the lab I will hand check the prints to make sure there are no errors and they are 100% right. If a image (for what ever reason) is not up to standard it will be returned to the lab and reprinted.
- The prints are than boxed and posted.
