How do we receive the pictures?
All images are supplied as jpg images, 12”x8” in size and at 300 DPI. The images are fully edited, colour corrected and supplied in both colour and black & white on a DVD.

I’d like to book. What do I need to do now?
First contact Scott to check if he is available to cover your wedding day. If the date is free, the next step is to arrange a meeting with Scott to look at our products and discuss your needs. Scott is happy to travel to your home if its within 50 miles of his office or an agreed location for the meeting. When you have made a final decision, a deposit of £250 will secure your booking.

Do you offer prints, books etc?
Yes. Full details can be found on the “Wedding photography products” page.

What about the quality of your prints?
All Scott’s images are printed at a professional lab, they are not “proofs”, bulk printed at a high street shop or printed on a inkjet printer. Each image is enhanced by hand using a digital darkroom and then sent to a professional lab where they are colour corrected printed on professional photographic paper.

I have seen a friends’ album/product that I really want. Can you provide it for me?
If you have the information for the product Scott is happy to contact the company and obtain a quote for him to provide it for you.

What is the license for and what does it cover?
The license enables you to print and share your images with family and friends for your personal use.

So, do I own the copyright then?
No. The copyright remains the property of Scott Ramsey Photography, however Scott respects his clients privacy and always checks first before using the images for any marketing or on his website.

Will Scott be the photographer on the day?
Yes, Scott personally photographs all of the weddings booked with Scott Ramsey Photography.

What happens if Scott is ill on our wedding day?
Scott Ramsey Photography will do everything possible to provide a photographer for your special day. We have a network of trusted photographers that we can call on to cover this eventuality. Should we be unable to provide a photographer we will give you a full refund of any money paid. To date, we have never had to call on another photographer or make any refunds!

What happens if something goes wrong with your equipment on the day?
Scott Ramsey Photography holds both public liability insurance and professional indemnity insurance, to cover any unforeseen circumstances. If you would like to see the certificates, please mention this when booking your meeting with Scott.

What area do you cover and do you charge a travelling fee?
Scott covers the UK and is happy to travel abroad. He regularly works in Surrey, Sussex, London, Kent and Hampshire. Travel of up to 50 miles from his office (BN16 1EP) is included in his wedding photography prices. A £50.00 travel charge applies to cover a wedding in London. If your wedding location is over 50 miles from Scott’s office or abroad then travel expenses will be charged. Please contact Scott to find out more.
