Recommended venues for great wedding pictures by Scott Ramsey Photography

As a professional wedding photographer I have photographed many weddings in different locations from country houses to town halls. Choosing a wedding venue is a important part of the day with the food, location and cost to consider, but as a photographer there are things to be considered as well and I have created this page to help.
Very often I am asked for advice and looked upon to give direction to the couple during the day. I am more than happy to do this and feel it’s part of my job to work with and advise the couple. I work differently from many traditional wedding photographers and like to build up a good relationship with venues on the day. All these things help me create the best and often exclusive wedding photographs that I can. Below I have a list of recommended venues that I have covered weddings at. The listings have not be paid for by the venue and have been selected by me on the basis that I know the location and venue are great for photographs and that the staff are helpful and professional. Please note: This page is designed as a guide for couples and all comments are the personal opinion of Scott Ramsey Photography. The information is designed to be used for advice and Scott Ramsey Photography can not be held liable. Please remember to check out all venues and possibilities to achieve your perfect day.
