Portsmouth Wedding Photographer - Vivien And Chris's Portsmouth Registry Office Wedding

Portsmouth Registry Office Wedding. Chris and Vivien are photographed in the garden of Milldam House (Portsmouth Registry Office) in Portsmouth, Hampshire.

Portsmouth Registry Office is the setting for these lovely wedding photographs by Portsmouth wedding photographer Scott Ramsey.

Chris and Vivien recently got married at Portsmouth Registry Office (Milldam House) in Portsmouth, Hampshire. Organising a wedding at the best of times came be tricky however this couple had the added challenge of living abroad, as they decided to return to Portsmouth in the UK to get married with their family and friends. As you can imagine this took a lot of organisation on their part and they really did a great job. I was recommended by another couple who's wedding I had photographed and liaised via email with Chris and Vivien to arrange the photos they required. After the wedding ceremony we all headed into the registry office gardens to take a few traditional wedding group photographs. After we had finished and to everyone's surprise, Vivien produced two pairs of small scissors and a white sheet. She announced, with a smile on her face, that herself and Chris would be playing a game. Chris needn't have worried though as all soon been clear. The game Vivien was referring to was a German wedding tradition and involved a race between the couple as they cut out a heart shape in the white sheet. Everyone really enjoyed it and as you can see in the photos below it really made some lovely and different wedding photos. After the wedding ceremony I accompanied the couple to Old Portsmouth to take some romantic photographs of them both.
