Just one year ago, I embarked on a journey to South Korea, a land that is rich in culture and history. As an experienced photojournalist, filmmaker, and travel TV presenter, I have a passion for exploring new places and discovering hidden gems. My mission was to craft a travel documentary that would tell the compelling story of South Korea and its people.

Did you know I've been working as a professional photographer for over 30 years? I've met some great people and photographed some amazing things during this time. And last week, I spent a fun day recalling some of these photography adventures to a group of students at my old school. During the Q&A session, I explained how camera equipment had changed, especially while covering a commercial photography shoot and that we now get to use drones

If I was to say to you, ‘corporate headshot’, what would you see in your mind’s-eye? Forced smiles in the boardroom? Starched collars and boring suits? Middle-aged men perched awkwardly on their desks?
I’ve been mulling over the question of ‘what makes a good corporate portrait’ ever since I returned from a recent commission in London.

I love travelling with my cameras and photographing some of the unique cities, landscapes and cultures I discover. In this travel photography blog update, I'm exploring Valencia in Spain and heading to the famous, Valencia Bullring the Plaza de Toros de Valencia.

Valencia is a beautiful Spanish city and one of my favourite places to wander around taking photos, especially the historic Old Town, El Carmen. It was a Sunday, so the Old Town was quiet, apart from the occasional chiming of church bells, as I wandered around. The early morning sunlight was casting its beautiful golden glow on the buildings a perfect day for some street photography.

It's been months in the planning, and now finally I can give you a glimpse of what's to come 😉 Later this month, I'll be launching a brand new YouTube Travel Photography series called Travels With My Camera. Here's a sneak peek of two of the short teasers for the show.

Working as an editorial photographer in East Sussex allows me the opportunity to meet some great people in the most unlikely of places. On May 19th 2018 I spent the day photographing the people of Bexhill-On-Sea as they celebrated Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's wedding day in style.

Thankfully after 30 years I still have a passion for telling stories, and when the story is right, I don't always need to be commissioned to pick up my cameras. Heck, the day I stop wanting to document life and share the story of a city, and its people is the day I'll retire.

It’s been a while I know but trust me a lot has been happening this last 12 months. I have been really busy meeting amazing people, documenting new stories and exploring new formats. It's been great but unfortunately I haven't been able to keep my blog updated. I'm sorry it’s not that I haven't wanted to it’s just ……..well let me explain.

Upwaltham Barns in West Sussex is the setting for this winter wedding that included a Bucking Bronco, attendance by a pet dog and great live band. Jo and Neil wanted to make sure everyone had fun at their wedding and as you can see from these photos they definitely did.

Emma and Alex were recently married at All Saints Weston Green church in  Esher, Surrey and asked me to photograph the day for them. The day was full of romance, fun and lots of laughter which can be seen in these lovely wedding photos.
