Unveiling the Hidden Gems of South Korea: Join TV Travel Presenter Scott Ramsey on his Next Adventure

Photojournalist, filmmaker, and travel TV presenter, Scott Ramsey, see's the city he'll call home for a few days, Seoul in South Korea, for the first time as he travels in a taxi from the airport to the city.

Just one year ago, I embarked on a journey to South Korea, a land that is rich in culture and history. As an experienced photojournalist, filmmaker, and travel TV presenter, I have a passion for exploring new places and discovering hidden gems. My mission was to craft a travel documentary that would tell the compelling story of South Korea and its people.

During my time in South Korea, I spent an entire month traversing across its diverse landscape, capturing the heart and soul of the country through my lens. I visited some of the country's most iconic landmarks, including the Bukchon Hanok Village and South Korea's second city Busan. I also explored some of the lesser-known areas, uncovering hidden gems that are not typically featured in travel documentaries. I met with locals, experienced the local cuisine, and immersed myself in the culture of the country.

My journey through South Korea was not without its challenges. I travelled alone, self-shot the entire project, and faced extremely long working days, language barriers, challenging food, and a self-inflicted daily challenge of capturing awesome photographs along the way! However, I somehow pulled it off, probably due to my dogged determination, stubbornness and passion for my craft.

My Camera And The Wonderful South Korea Trailer. Join photojournalist, filmmaker and travel TV presenter Scott Ramsey as he embarks on a journey across South Korea.

The entire trip was fantastic, and I emerged from the journey with a deeper understanding and appreciation of the country and its people. Would I do it all again? Yes, you bet!

In fact, within a month of returning home, I was heading to Romania to start filming another travel documentary. But I'll save those adventures for another time.

So for the next few blog posts, I'll share some of the finished episodes, photos, behind-the-scenes footage, and stories from the trip. The travel documentary's working title is My Camera And The Wonderful, and I've set up a couple of social media accounts relevant to the project.
